August 12, 2001MANNERS!I was feeding Liquorice in the breezeway of our home this evening. She was having her first course of kibble, boiled rice and mashed pumpkin all mixed together with a dash of raw linseed oil. Liquorice sat very ladylike and I held her food dish at a convenient height as she ate her meal but was obviously thinking of the chicken that was to follow. It was a quiet and tranquil evening then Liquorice, to be polite, had flatulence. A more vulgar term comes to mind that would more adequately apply to the blast that emanated from my little darling's rectum. Liquorice looked around seeking, I felt, to find someone else to blame but no one being available Liquorice simply resumed her meal with regal indifference!
