MANNERS!

I was feeding Liquorice in the breezeway of our home this evening. She was having her first course of kibble, boiled rice and mashed pumpkin all mixed together with a dash of raw linseed oil. Liquorice sat very ladylike and I held her food dish at a convenient height as she ate her meal but was obviously thinking of the chicken that was to follow. It was a quiet and tranquil evening then Liquorice, to be polite, had flatulence. A more vulgar term comes to mind that would more adequately apply to the blast that emanated from my little darling's rectum. Liquorice looked around seeking, I felt, to find someone else to blame but no one being available Liquorice simply resumed her meal with regal indifference!

Liquorice – I was waiting for the echo.
